Enhanced Access

From the 1st of October 2022, evening and Saturday appointments will be available at Lime Square Medical Centre (Lime Square- Ashton Old Road- Openshaw – Manchester M11 1DA). These appointments are provided by our Primary Care Network, of which the practice is a member

We are also pleased to offer Enhanced Access appointments at North Manchester General Hospital on weekdays and Victoria Mill (Miles Platting) on Saturdays and Sundays
.
Our staff may offer you an appointment at the above locations based on your symptoms and clinical need. Alternatively, you can also request an appointment for the Enhanced Access – please just indicate this on your online request form

These appointments can be face to face or telephone and video consultations, however, it is likely you will be offered a face to face appointment as prescriptions cannot be sent electronically and you will therefore be given a printed script during your appointment if you are prescribed medication

The Enhanced Access service offers a mixture of appointments including acute condition care, cervical screening, blood tests and management of long-term conditions such as diabetes or COPD. There are a variety of healthcare professionals that you can see, such as GPs, clinical pharmacists, nurses and healthcare assistants

If you have a booked appointment at Lime Square that you wish to cancel, please call 0161 371 1565. NMGH and Victoria Mill will send a text once your appointment has been booked which will include cancellation details if needed
