Each year, the NHS prepares for the unpredictability of flu

For most healthy people, flu is an unpleasant but usually self-limiting condition

However, there is a particular risk of flu being severe in older people, the very young, pregnant women and those with underlying conditions and those who are immunosuppressed

Thank you to those that have already booked their 2 and 3 year olds in to receive their flu vaccination

The next invites are being sent to those eligible by text message
This will include a simple booking link, giving you the option to choose an appointment time suitable for you

If patients are eligible and they do not have a mobile number, we will make contact by phone to book those patients in

Patients coded as housebound will also be contacted separately
