Our practice nurse works in direct liaison with the doctors to provide nursing care for our patients. They also see patients with long-term problems, such as asthma, diabetes and high blood pressure. In addition they perform cervical smear tests, ECG and other heart and lung tests and vaccinations.
We provide contraceptive care that is CONFIDENTIAL and that you can be confident in.

The Health Care Assistant’s role includes taking blood samples, new patient medicals, performing ECGs and undertaking blood pressure checks.
A team of District Nurses is attached to the Practice and can be contacted via the surgery. They are involved with the nursing care of housebound patients particularly the elderly, post-operative patients and those with terminal illnesses.
Our midwives provide antenatal and postnatal care, alongside your doctor throughout the duration of you pregnancy. They also undertake postnatal home visits.
Our Health Visitors have a special interest in health promotion and education, including child health and development.
Our team are here to help you with your travel health needs such as travel vaccinations and prescriptions

If you are travelling abroad please print (or request at reception) and fill in the form below and then bring it to the surgery at least 10 weeks prior to travelling for our Practice Nurse to review and then she will contact you in order to make an appointment for your travel vaccinations.
